Staysail is a flexible, object-oriented web application framework for PHP and MySQL.  It can be used to create standalone front- and back-end applications, or it can be integrated into an existing content management system as an enhancement.

Staysail is available now in the Mainspring Content Management System, but it will be released as an open source product under a permissive BSD license around January 2010.
